In this collaboration pack from the Square One Music Group, Oscar Zulu teamed up with Rashad Baksh to create an immersive collection of 10 original compositions. With both members relying heavily on piano and vocals for their independent work, the two were able to use that to their advantage in creating this body of work. However, that’s just the tip of the iceberg as far as sound design goes, with most of the samples morphing into atmospheric, textural synth ideas. Throughout the pack you will hear sections where the two took a maximalist approach, with several layers of huge sounds, paired beside extremely stripped back sections where only one or two instruments are playing. This creates opportunities to use these compositions in a variety of different genres and situations.
